People Can Change runs online support groups where men who have left homosexuality and resolved same-sex attraction problems give and receive support. We strive to create a "safe container" where we can learn from each other, a place where those who are struggling with unwanted homosexuality provide mutual support to each other without judgment or criticism. All men who are conflicted over their sexuality and sincerely want to know what it takes to change to a more heterosexual orientation, and want to give and receive mutual support for change, are welcome. Men who have always been heterosexual are also welcome, on condition that their sole motivations are to give support and increase their own understanding, compassion and sense of brotherhood with us. All others, especially those hostile to our desire for change, or hostile toward those dealing with homosexuality, will not be allowed. These are not religious groups. Men of all faiths -- or no faith -- are welcome. We do not discuss or debate religion, although men are welcome to share their own personal spiritual journeys and what is helpful for them. Online Support Group for Wives This group is for wives of men who were formerly homosexually oriented, are currently struggling with unwanted homosexuality, or are now actively involved in homosexuality. Husbands of former or currently struggling lesbians are also welcome. The group was set up by a married couple who survived and overcame the husband's addictive involvement with homosexuality. The husband established People Can Change, a not-for-profit organization that runs a Website (www.peoplecanchange.com), online support groups and training retreats supporting change. This is not a religion-based group. People of all faiths -- or no faith -- are welcome. To learn more about how the groups work, and how to join, click here. | |
