How the Groups Work
These are a closed, members-only, password-protected, Yahoo! groups. You must receive permission to join. Only approved members can send or receive messages.
To receive permission to join, you must read and agree to abide by all the rules of membership.
(Click on "Join Now" to read the membership rules and agreements.)
Then you need to submit the following:
- A short description of yourself. (This short description will be posted to the group once you are admitted.)
- Include your current situation and explain why you are joining
- Explain what you hope to get out of the group
Once you have been accepted, you will be able to send e-mail to the entire group and receive messages from the group. (Click on "Join Now" for more information.)
NOTE: These are not religious groups. Those of all faiths -- or no faith -- are welcome. We do not discuss or debate religion, although you are welcome to share your own personal spiritual journeys and what has been or is helpful for you.
PCC Men's Group
These groups are for you if:
- You are working to resolve unwanted same-sex attractions.
- You want to give and receive support for change in a "safe container" without judgment or criticism.
- OR You have always been heterosexual and your sole motivation is to give support and increase your own understanding, compassion, and sense of brotherhood with us.
Men who are hostile to our desire for change or hostile toward those dealing with homosexuality will not be allowed.
We have 6 US/global groups and one European group.
Each of these groups has about 150 to 200 members. They average about 100 posts per month (but the European group is smaller). You will be added to only one group initially, but if after a time you decide you wish to belong to more than one group, you can request to be added to others as well.
PCC Spouse's Group
This group is primarily for wives of men who were formerly homosexually oriented, are currently struggling with unwanted homosexuality, or are now actively involved in homosexuality. Husbands of former or currently struggling lesbians are also welcome.
This group averages about 35 posts per month.
